Abstract: This article discusses the extended distributional range of the endemic grass species of Indian desert, Eragrostis tremula var. gajanandii Genda Singh, Bala &  C.S.Purohit which was previously known only from the two locations viz. Barmer and Jaisalmer, now recorded from third location Neem Ka Thana district of Rajasthan. The species has been assessed for the IUCN Red List Category as ‘Endangered’ [EN/B2ab(iii);D2].
